Pavers vs. concrete—which is better?

While poured concrete is cheaper initially, pavers are a better long-term investment. Concrete is prone to cracking as the ground shifts over time. Pavers move flexibly with the soil to prevent cracking, and individual units can be seamlessly removed and replaced if underground repairs are ever needed.

Can you build a patio around an existing tree?

Yes, but it depends on the size of the tree. We avoid building directly against a tree trunk to protect its vital root system and allow space for natural growth. Whether we can or should build nearby depends on the tree’s size, species, and overall root footprint.
Can you incorporate a fire pit into a patio?
